Year 1957

History of School

In the year 1957, an idea arose in the minds of the villagers for the development of education, after which everyone started making efforts.  First of all, the work of teaching was started by retired teachers..  Among these teachers, resident of the villege itself, Mr. Gulzari Lal Sharma, while doing unpaid work, decided to establish Junior High School.

In the year 1958, the foundation of Junior High School was laid by the Additional Collector on the land received from Mr. Dr. Suresh Chandra Sharma and Mr. Brahmanand Sharma etc. Thus the school continued to flourish under temporary accreditation till 1964.  The school got permanent recognition in 1965. In 1969 got the recognition of high school and in 2001 got the recognition of Inter (financial).

With the support of Sarvoday Kisan Sabha and School family, Sarvoday Kisan Inter College, Shikoi is progressing continuously.

The school SKIC is located in North East of Village Shikoi on the left bank of Rajwaha Paota branch.
